The first thing that comes to mind when considering things to do in Milan, Italy is to visit the opera. The world famous historical opera house of La Scala has been housing performances by performers, conductors and composers since 1778. The Milan Cathedral contains a collection of beautiful and sacred articles donated by wealthy noblemen and patrons over the centuries. Visit the Castle Sforzesco of interest due to two leading Italian families and as the site of some Bramante and Da Vinci commissions. Michelangelo's last work, unfinished is located here. The Play Planet for children is popular. Few people will miss the opportunity to view Da Vinci's masterpiece known as "The Last Supper".
